Sudan TV (Arabic: تلفزيون السودان, translated to TV Soudan in French) is the name of the satellite version of the Sudanese state television channel run by SNBC (Sudan National Broadcasting Corporation). On its antenna alternate prayers, readings of the Koran, debates, series, programs for children, local varieties and news bulletins. Much emphasis is given to government activities and a military censor works with TV Sudan to ensure that the news reflects government policy.
