MALI

Mali has a diverse and pluralistic media environment, with a developed print press, although limited in its distribution. Radio is the primary source of information for most Malians, with nearly 300 local stations partially funded by non-governmental organizations. Television, on the other hand, is not widespread, with only one national public television channel, ORTM. Internet is used by over 10% of Malians, particularly educated elites and the Malian diaspora, and offers popular online media.
