NIGER
In Niger, the print media mainly consists of around ten newspapers published in Niamey. However, like in many African countries, radio remains the primary means of accessing information, with several private radios and a dozen community radios broadcasting alongside the public radio. Regarding television, three private channels are available in addition to the government television. However, access to the internet is limited due to the country's underdeveloped infrastructure, resulting in less than 2.5% of Nigeriens having access to the internet. Nevertheless, many news websites are available to follow the country's news. |
